Although we did not camp out this month, Our troop did multiple activities during our weekly Troop meetings.

These activities included first aid, lashings, and uniform checks. During the first aid training, we learned how to treat broken bones, heat exhaustion, hypothermia, and other things that can happen to you in the wilderness. For lashings, we did a lashing relay race where two teams competed in a contest to see which team could do the fastest lashings. During the uniform check, one scout checked everyone’s uniform to ensure they had the proper outfit on, and those who did earned a reward.

In addition to our weekly scheduled meetings, a group of scouts also worked on their Personal Fitness Merit badge.
